Did I miss some huge update? Since when did Skype have a function of not letting one write messages after a certain amount without the other party replying?

Skype (botnet, advertising and locking features)
Discord (botnet, data mining, right apropiation of anything you post in their service)
There is Rocket.Chat and RiotIM is starting to make the rounds lately

@Torbuntu At least try to show you jest, you're confusing people.

@BlueNutterfly Skype works normally here... 😯

@Qaldim Well my comment wasnt a lie, While Skype has been rather shady lately, in regard with Discord specially if you have actually read their Terms of service, *all of it*, you will see alot people think there is actually such thing as "free" stuff without being giving exchange something else

@legionfrontier I was definitely mentioning @Torbuntu. You didn't say anything that was a lie. 🙂

@ Torbuntu Everything is possible in this life! You might as well propose them this feature and get rich afterwards (and hated)! 🤣

In all honesty, I'm giving 0Fs (a.k.a zero fucks) about this whole thing. As long as Skype (and any other software I use, be it closed or open source, free or proprietary) works, I'm sticking to it.

    Here's the screenshot.

This stays at the bottom of the screen in the chat, not giving you ANY options to write...

@BlueNutterfly Ayy... just use Rocket.chat if you need a chat client, Im personally thinking/messing around the idea to link my users from my site with a rocket.chat client lately

@rc5-asdf You could start using Rocket.chat, you can even self host it in your private servers
