Guys I am looking to get my "feet wet" in Android Apps. Can you maybe drop a comment on any suggestions... Like IDE to use or any advise you have thnx.

    You could get into Xamarin if you want to explore app development in general, rather than just Android.

    @code-maniac sorry for my short answer. Iam a webdev and in my company all android devs are working with android studio. Its build on top of the intellij IDE and from google. Download it and search for beginner tutorials.

    There are plenty of options, can use xamarin or android studio although android studio might be easier for now.

    I mostly lack ideas for apps. If some of you guys would tell me how you deal with that ^^

    I took an Android dev class last semester at school, it was pretty challenging and I got into it. we used Android studio and Android for beginners book which you can buy off Amazon.
