@dfox what are your plans for devRant? Usually such communities get way out of hand with spam as it grows beyond a certain level? How will you keep devRant safe?

    @manrock007 Just @-tag their name. But you need to take a note of it before writing your rant or comment. There's no auto-lookup or anything like that. Yet. 😉

    Programmers like order. Also, I think spamming on this platform would be very ineffective.

    They have features like the downvote for spam or reposting, removes most of it from our feeds. I've been here since nearly the beginning and seldom do we see spamming, sure there's weird posts sometimes but more often than not that's someone figuring out the API, which is amusing to watch hahaha

    We're a community of developers, I guess we'll figure it out. It's not like spam's that effective on this group anyways lol

    collecting +1for free gift is a good way to encourage nice content, even for spam, they need to be good shit.

    guys don't underestimate the power of spam. some good dev are thinking about how to ruin this platform.
