Which keyboard layout do you prefer for programming and why?
Qwerty, Dvorak, Colemak, Workman, or even another one ?

    @DavidKevork Did you try others ? If so why still qwerty ?

    @Gawk i have only used qwerty and i dont think i need to change it to other type of keyboard layouts

    Why would you change from a layout you're use to? I've been using qwerty for 20 years and it would probably take at least that much time to become as effective using something else, so I don't really see the point.

    @simeg I live in France and I only use qwerty for less than year right now, I still have the possibility to change easily.

    @simeg Some layouts make it easier to code. For people with RSI for example, having to press shift/altGr a bunch of times in a day is not that great. There's one layout that was specifically made do code, but I can't remember the name. But I'm with you on the "getting used to it" part. The only reason I didn't change layouts yet is because I'm lazy af, and I feel like learning a new layout (properly) would probably take years...

    qwerty, because typing speed is not a bottleneck yet for me (nor for many many programmers) xD
    I'd rather work on my real botleneck, which is thinking good code.

    however, I can see the RSI argument, some key combinations are painful.
