Why are end users so braindead? "omg I deleted the whole db" turns out they wanted to delete one entry but pressed the wrong delete button.

Especially older people who are braindead. Same with self service systems that braindead people have problems using because they are not "user friendly" (read: n00bed down so a 1 year child can use it)

I mean a local software for managing databases, end user created a db and stored thing there. And then wants to delete a single entry, but clicks the delete button nearest to the list of available dbs instead of the lists of entries. So the selected db was deleted.

soo stupid users... and then he complains about there should be a confirm dialog....

To be fair MANY software vendors don't know shit about usability or UX. Engineers design it for other engineers - not for average joes who don't have the time to dig through dozen of confusing and similar options.

The more technical the app is the less the developers give a shit about usability. Engineering apps are the worst.

@Linux You are thinking of web app now. Im talking about local databases, think like Access, Excel or SQLite, where the end user create the db.
