As I am a year and a half away from getting my bachelor's degree, what are the pros and cons on pursuing a master's degree in comp sci? Will I have a better shot at more pay?

I have my masters degree. It's a nice to have, but the benefits haven't justified the cost of it yet. ;(

Depends on your career path. If you want to get into research - even at large companies like Google get a Phd.

Getting a Masters will help push you into engineering management. Almost all VP's of engineering I've ever worked with had an MS. I'd advise you to get at least 5 years of experience under your belt before pursuing the MS.

A lot of developers tell me it's experience over the degree type if you're looking to get into software developing. If you want it just for the title, don't get it. You'll do better getting experience in the field.
