The moment when you ask a great question on stackoverflow and all you get are -1s. Later finding that the question is duplicate.

There are 2 (I will not say 10 because I've heard that joke one time too often) kinds of people on StackOverflow: good people with superior insights who are willing to help you...and the dickheads who have not ever posted a single valueable solution themselves, but are just looking for others to downvote. SCN is the StackOverflow for SAP problems. They also went "elitist" in this way. Result: new contributions almost stopped and almost nobody, except for the moderators (who behave like super arrogant bullies), dares to ask or answer a new question. SO: here's your future!

I added a question on SO to share knowledge (ticked the "answer your own question" box) as it was a weird error message and none of the solutions I found were relevant. Then figured that in no way was there an indication on the question that I wrote it for that reason, nor that I answered myself. Got downvoted immediately. Meeeh.

wtf...unbelievable.They make these rules to exclude a few abusers, but they don't consider the impact it has on normal users. There should be a "repost" button for questions on SO. There are no dumb questions...
