STUPID SHIT ASS EMAIL POLICIES NOT ALLOWING ME TO SEND CERTAIN FILE TYPES TO A SUPPORT MEMBER WHEN THERE ARE FUCKING PROBLEMS WITH THE PRODUCTION SITE. THE GUY THAT SET UP THOSE POLICIES CAN ROLL THEM UP AND STICK THEM IN HIS ASS.

There that's better...

I've never encountered these kind of restrictions. Do they check mime or only the extension?

@taylan I can't send .zip or files larger as x mb. No .exe which is logic. Can't send .pkk or .pem files. And a whole bunch more.

@h3ll I ended up sending an download link to the files 😛

@alkuzad Doesn't work like that. They have a really strong policy configured. It even checks excel files for weird macro's...

@bdriesen if they cannot read file policy will not allow it? Really funny way to enforce low security

right.... just change the extension and tell him to change it back... 7zip it into 10 mb volumes and then change the .zip to .text and it should be fine...

@c3ypt1c the second comment is a rant on it's own ;) unfortunate the guy who I was sending to probably has the brain the size of a walnut so I doubt if this extension changing would work ;)
