30 and feel too old to learn programming. suddenly get opportunities to code at work in a framework that I hate. asp.net

also manager approves my request to give a windows server exam with Microsoft which is in a month. never been so stressed :/

    The book This is Your Brain on Music is written by a guy that was a studio recording engineer and switched careers at about thirty. He switched into neurology, got a PhD, and is now a world recognized contributor to the field.

    It's never too late. Keep your chin up and your nose in the books.

    Yep, your brain is a really powerful thing. You can learn anything if you're committed to it.

    I never had formal Computer Education but I could learn .net basics in 2 months. It's not really hard if you stop hating it.

    I entered a 4yr degree program at 40, got a job as a developer at 42 I'm now 46 and feel like my career as developer is only getting better. Your not too old! Maybe some of your stress comes from your belief in that fallacy.
