So finally I am getting started with Android apps. Ubuntu make claims they install the whole Dev stack for you in one operation. Except you need another jdk. Then know how to tell Android Studio where to find it. Oh, and there's an issue with IBus. And some stuff with LibGL. And X.

have you ever tried installing android studio in windows. it will be easy right, click an exe, right? Except the setup failed 4 times and it took more than 5 fucking minutes to open android studio.
oh now Comes Ubuntu-one command-30 seconds-Studio is now open.
(oh and the Ibus issue -i also faced it just disable the Ubuntu shortcuts somewhere in settings)
