!rant
Made the switch to debian. First linux experience. Have already setup my IDE's and programs i need for work (Atom, IntelliJ, putty, filezilla, etc) . Loving it so far!

    @cors yes, remembered that too late, but problem is a can't find my raspberry on my own router anymore! i know it is online because the website is active. i think it is some setting that seperates the network or something... when i insert a cable i can find him

    @jebediah different ssh clients sometimes have different outcomes. if i recall correctly, i once had such a problem with allowed/blocked crypto algorithms, some updates and config tweaking solved it. old software might be using deprecated handshake protocols, which get dropped by raspberry.
