My company doesn't allows or uses Wi-Fi. It's too dangerous... Like fucking really. We also don't use a repository. We version stuff by dates folders. Yes we are a ecommerce business.

Gawd that sucks. Seems like e-commerce places are the worst places for developers, but I could be wrong.

@burswag dude. I am thinking the same thing. I am the only developer here too. No one lasted more than a year. Cause the CMS doesn't allow code access on some parts of the website. Ohh and we do more design than development. Though we have a whole design team.

What, no version control system? How is it humanly possible to be more than one person in a project and not have version control?

Your bosses need a head transplant.

@xociety I can't believe I lasted a year where I am. I'm still here only because I need the money. It's sort of an e-commerce place too.

WiFi I could understand, those can be broken into. But version control by dated folders? Bloody hell!

@xociety What prevents you from running git on your machine? And make a bare repo on the server? You have a server, right? And it is backed up, right?

Run, my friend, run fast. Go somewhere safe where people are using versioning systems. You deserve better.
