I have used a lot of different languages and built solutions or solved problems that others can't. I am to be able to pick up new things quickly and start using them.

Does that make me a generalist or a specialist (in problem solving)?

    But in general I've had different managers come to me with issues nobody else could figure out...

    Could just be the calibre of the other (senior) devs are below average though... I work in IT
