    Yes elementary os is crap. Please don't use it. Although I think there are a few fanboys in devrant who'd comment otherwise. There's some rant about how good it was (lol). The comments went ugly...

    If you don't have a problem with fedora then you'll have a lot of nice options too. Do check them out (user friendly fedora os'es eg. Korara I think)

    @GC97 yeah that's what I said, Linux mint, based on Ubuntu LTS, runs smooth and stable. If you love GUI too much try those de and see which you like best!

    Get Fedora, it's great.

    Use standard ubuntu and pls dont explode, many os dont suport 3party drivers like debian, so if your noob it will be hell for you.

    @anonimus although you are right, I know many devs who haven't ran into any issues with Debian or fedora. It highly depends on what you want to do with your distro. That's all

    @GC97 worked?

    @pretz Hi, sorry for the late Response.
    Yeah, it finally worked - first I removed elementary and installed Mint, but even Mint didn't work. I turned Off the pc for a few hours, turned it on again and suddenly it worked. So I decided to uninstall Mint again and give elementary os a try. And Yeah, I'll See. Until today it worked ;)
