Now i think Microsoft just want to use the win 10 users as testers.

After getting anniversary update windows started showing application not responding message for the FUCKING WINDOWS itself .
like if The OS itself is not responding shouldn't it just show BSOD rather than freezing?
Combined with the fact that it is almost impossible to go into recovery mode without the shift+restart , it just wasted a WHOLE DAY .
And my laptop(lenovo Z50-70) has pretty common hardware.

I learned my lesson and deferred Updates But for Some versions of windows That's not even an option.

    I got a z50-70 but my problem is with the screen turning off randomly due to graphics drivers. I switched completely to linux last week. (Decided I didn't really need Microsoft Word. I can use pdf instead.)

    Try upgrading to Ubuntu. It fixed it for me.

    yah i do duel boot with kubuntu but I am a student and nobody wants to even see that . hell one teacher refused to take a presentation in libre office !! WHY YOU JUST HAVE TO WATCH THE SLIDES AND HAVE NO INTERACTION WITH THE SOFTWARE WHICH MADE THAT!!

    and people prefer to pirate windows rather than buy it here so basically its better to steal than to even try FOSS,
    Some one should tell them VLC and Android are both FOSS.

    @rammmukul agree. I use pdf for my documents in class because I don't use Microsoft word. I convert out to pdf

    @rammmukul that's really sad. In my case, teachers would gladly - and often preferably - accept PDF slides with no animations or other bullshit because it meant no compatibility issues with any machine.
