I self-training on PHP, Ruby, Python, C# during 1 year without knowledge in programming. Now I finally find a job as professionnal web developper, without degree !

    Congrats! I took the same path except for BI/Analytics. Accountant (CPA) by trade but realized in my third year of tax/audit that I was at home with the dev teams at my clients and took every mooc/read source code/finally convinced a manager to give me a shot. I maintain the other licences as a fallback/always interesting interview topic of discussion/there is synergy where you least expect it!

    Again, congrats; I know that's amazing feeling. Don't ever let anyone tell you there is one path up the mountain! Keep the momentum --

    Same here. Students with degree are currently learning from me. I am mentoring team of developers.

    I wish I knew what I am doing wrong. Been trying to break into web dev full time coming up on a year. Fairly strong with node and learning react and rails. Just hard not to get discouraged.
