Been programming in PHP for years, now this year has been full-on JavaScript. Now had to help a friend with PHP again, I was too afraid to type. Why are there some many swiggely lines?!

@chrome Depends on what you're trying to achieve. I worked on a game project that required real-time multiplayer functionality. NodeJS allowed me to push and pull data real-time between the server and the clients, with the help of websockets. I can really recommend diving into it because it opens doors to so many new possibilities like real-time applications and games.
