Android app update available! I wonder what they've changed? 🤔

Recently I got something similar for a 400mb system update on my phone xD

@juzles i'd love if app developers put more description. Devrant does pretty well changelogs.

Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience

New permissions needed: Identity, Contacts and GPS Position. Because all of them are totally necessary for a file manager.

Well, I understand this to a degree. You wouldn't want your user base to find out that you fixed something that never should have been a problem.

We all make bone-headed mistakes occasionally. I just hope that their changelog is more descriptive than that.

* Stopped sending plaintext passwords over the internet
* Removed bug where if you held all the buttons at once it changed your login status to another user
* Removed bug where infinite loop wasted users battery (5 other bugs unsolved)

- What the update is really about: "we added some really cool intrusive adds that will screw your entire app experience, but we actually don't care."

I absolutely despise those devs who would consistently put up such useless and vague changelogs. Even worse though is when there is no change log at all

@TeamGameRev I despise them for selling it without a charger. That's haughtiness even worse than Apple's.

Facebook seems to copy and paste every time

@starless A lot of devs do that, especially larger corporations. It pisses me off. For the love of God, why can't they give any actual change logs? Especially when they are pumping out updates so often. I want to know what was changed and fixed.
