I am wondering what profanities, worse than Fuck, came to your mind that they needed to be censored 😜

With a deployment friday afternoon probably something that would call a demon if put in writing ;)

Lol must be a young developer. I think it takes only one Friday deployment going wrong to then know better.

I feel your frustration, bro. Boss remembers to deploy client site to prod on a Friday at 6.30PM, thankfully all went well and to my surprise since deploy (yesterday) until now, that client already made approximately 4.000£ in sales on through the site :)

It does make you wonder if a company always deployed at 5 pm on Friday would code quality improve? People really like their weekends and might be a little more careful that way.

@ninjatini sometimes issues you cannot foresee will break the build, but yeah it might work for some people.

Because of technical limitations we can deploy around 90% of our code ONLY on weekends! :/

Had a collegue who thought it was a good idea to deply some hotfixes friday 17:05 when most others already left the office.

Saturday morning I was at the office undoing his fixes an redeploying so that our customer could start selling tickets to their 11am theater performance.

He never regained the permission to deploy.
