Not very original, but... those smart mirror projects do amaze me. It won't be useful or anything. I just want to build one.
Hopefully I'll get more creative when I finally get one.

I'd use it with some sensors to create an elaborate pumpkin audio / light program so I could have my porch pumpkins talk to + scare people next Halloween.

    More home automation.

Make a network connected automated temperature control system for my brew cooler

Home made Echo. Arguably I could buy a Dot cheaper, but I already have the Pi sat here doing nothing. http://lifehacker.com/how-to-build-...

@dzil123 I've considered this... But the security implications worry me.

Heat statistics log server with sensors to log all my barbecue sessions and serve them on a webserver.
Planned with arduino but so much hassle with the AT codes and million module requirements ( if you forget one you need to wait another month to get the parts), so i believe a berry would be perfect for this project.

I would automate my Coffeemashine, that I can say her to make Coffee via Mail

I would make it to send data signal (audio andor video) trough lazer beam over my livingroom to another Rasberry Pi connected my TV. :)

@dzil123 Just makes me twitch a bit... I'd have to put it in a DMZ if I did do that.

So, are you giving away one? Or is this just some fun click-bait?

A bit late, but I was thinking of building a autonomous drone. More because of the machine learning stuff than anything else.
