So it's basically impossible to install Arch Linux on a MacBook without an Ethernet cable.

I downloaded the wi-fi drivers and put them on a separate USB and then tried to compile them in archiso, but without success

    Without looking into it, I can't imagine doing an offline install of arch is impossible..

    Perhaps something like downloading the packages to an external drive and creating a local mirror would work. :)

    I had similar issues getting ubuntu on to a macbook, ended up using an arbitrary well-known wireless adapter to get the on board wireless drivers working.

    @ianertson does the boot not have the drivers installed? I followed this for my mac once it was installed, maybe it works on boot?

    I could be wrong, but I definitely struggled with this too, do you not have an ethernet adapter?
