When you start a job and you're used to using IntelliJ but the whole team uses eclipse

    Once you go IntelliJ, you can never go back.

    @azous sometimes companies want everybody to use the same thing so that the project structure stays the same throughout.

    @kummerer94 I went intellij and ran away screaming, completely hated it

    @azous his personal copy may be Community Edition which can't be used for commercial projects. His last company could of had an ultimate edition license server which wouldn't help him now.

    @azous I had to use it for a year once, it murdered my laptops performance, not to mention the crazy amount of null pointer exceptions in the IDE

    @azous yes eclipse, I loaded an existing maven project and I was greeted with the mother lode of null pointer exceptions every time I pressed save on my code
