Seo bullshit!! How the hell do people do it. My site sits in a desert wasteland. I wish I cloud figure the search engine / traffic thing. Any tips.

    SearchEngineLand.com and Danny Sullivan have good info. It is a moving target. Google keeps it interesting.

    Been asked to get some results for organic search recently for a client, being lazy I'm going to give ranking coach.com a try to steer me. Anybody used it before? It seems great?

    Pretty basic but find a site that is a similar category as yours that ranks well, look at the source and see what keywords they have in Metadata. Also a must, Google analytics.

    With SEO pretty much everything matters...URLs, H elements, meta data (meta, Alts, names etc) and also content. There are some slick tools out there you can use (Raven tools, google analytics ) that will help you out too

    I don't think keywords are used much anymore as they can easily be poisoned.
