What is all the hype about sublime.

Its good, but its not godlike - as most proclaim it to be.

To me it's like a cross platform notepad++, that way I can use the same editor everywhere.

Talking about cross platform: Brackets, atom, vscode.

I think the hype stems from frustrations with large, expensive, unwieldy IDEs.

Sometimes you don't need all that. A nice looking text editor that can build is really appealing.

Plus the package manager means you can make like me and overcomplicate the crap out of it anyway.
