But wait until you try out ASP.NET Core!

That's exactly me in 2015! my senior introduced me to Django and DRF when I was using PHP and Rails. It was like a breath of fresh air. Their docs was so nicely written, too!

Let me warn you though; Don't try using WebSockets with Django REST Framework.

@MartinZikmund Is it that good? I've never tried .NET Core before. I hope things are a lot better now.

FYI, the last time I touched ASP.NET was before the MVC era. Still having nightmares from refactoring WebForms code in 2012.

@phoomparin yes, pretty awesome, latest release ranks in top 10 fastest web frameworks, fully open-source and extremely well designed as compared to the old huge ASP.NET :-D

@MartinZikmund Wow, thanks! I'll try it out soon, after I finished my own project.

I started a couple of months ago too, django is sooo easy!

Too bad employers here aren't looking for django backend devs, and it's not a course in school. So i'm restricted to using it on my personal website only

@oo92 the docs on the website are really well written, and there are plenty of tutorials on youtube (TheNewBoston i think his name is, has an in depth django tutorial, with DRF)
