I moved to another ISP today. Now my download speed is 40Mbps and upload 20Mbps. I can browse devRant faster and download porn much faster via IDM.

Guys don't complain. Mine atm is 1.57 MB in download (adsl) when the ISP by contract should give you at least 2.
A friend that lives few meters from me has an avarage of 30MB with another company.
We are changing to that company, which called our previous situation "embarassing" 😅

I'm in Ireland and have 360/36 Mbps 😎 the only thing I can complain about now is when I can't achieve my full down/up speed or when I go somewhere else where I don't have great speeds

@hube I live in Ireland, as I mentioned. And I'm from croatia so I would pretty much say that I'm from Europe and I've never heard of octets as a unit. Byte is an octet, but it's a name for an octet of bytes, so it's weird to use octet as a unit. Kind of like using kilo as a unit.

The standards i know are:
MB, GB, TB: for file sizes (factor 1024)
MiB, GiB, TiB: for speed(factor 1000)

@stop then there's Windows. ;)
