What are you supposed to do in an environment where your peers can't take criticism on the code and their approach to problem solving? They like to take shortcuts which end of making the software less maintainable. Is it worth to convince them to use best practices and be labeled as a bad guy who keeps on ranting about stuff they don't understand?
