Finally got my new phone (from China) today.
*Opens package all excitedly*
*Backups everything to pc of old phone and gets ready to swap the simcard*
*Notices that the new phone only supports a nano sim*
*Realizes that I only have an old school simcard that you can't cut down to nano size*
*Realizes that I'll have to wait until after the weeked to receive the new simcard*

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.

I want to play with it now :(

Phone from China. Is it a OnePlus?

If you pop int your phone network's shop (assuming they have a shop, of course), they might be able to swap your sim card on the spot.

@linuxxx Oh bums! Well at least a fair amount of the new phone fun playing can be done over WiFi.

@helloworld Fair enough, online reviews were prettig good so that that's why I bought an Oukitel

@linuxxx no no, the specs looks really good, been thinking of switching to android, sick of the iphone price tag. Looking at wiley fox, which someone mentioned on dR a while ago. Be interested to read what you think of your phone once you get a sim that fits.

@helloworld Funny to read though, my sister recently switched to android from iPhone because she was starting to find the iPhone prices way too fucking high (and the headphone jack removal...). Let's just say that she completely flipped out :P

@boubalo I think I should rep grade 'play with'. I mean like set everything up, root it, setup Signal and email and music stuff etc

@helloworld I have the Wileyfox Swift. It's hardly a premium device (It's got a Snapdragon 4-something) but it does look pretty good, and there seem to be quite a few ROMs available.
