    Are those foot pedals? ๐Ÿ˜‚

@sylflo okay, interesting. That was a thing I always wondered about.

They also have a way to type via stroke order which works a bit like T9. Many native speakers don't know pinyin.

@sylflo I guess they do something similar with Japanese right?
  • 3
@azous yeah, you type latin characters (romaji) and it shows you hiragana, katakana, and kanji completions

@sylflo thanks for teaching me stuff today

Chinese here. I type Chinese by just using a typical keyboard with a proper input method. But man, this is ridiculous... lol. Though Chinese is really fucking hard to learn. I myself haven't master it... ._.

By the time you learned using that keyboard, you became a metal drummer.

@sylflo lol, "world" uses the same characters as in Japanese, ไธ–็•Œ, though that it means "the world" in general. World is just ไธ–. But is is pronounced differently, "sekai" and "yo"

@sylflo looks like you misunderstood me. I do not know Chinese and found it interesting that words share the same meaning too sometimes. I just knew that Japan got their characters from China.

Am I the only one who spotted the drumsticks.

Looks like an electro drum setup with the keys added onto the drum pads with an image editor.

@querellaMMXII those sticks are traditional Chinese chopsticks used for eating steamed meals, called ็ฎธ.

Typing on these keyboards might be equivalent to creating a fucking launchpad remix ๐Ÿ˜‚
