Fuck Uber!

I requested an Uber to take me Chicago Midway Airport.

They driver takes me to a different airport over an hour away! I nearly missed my flight because he didn't follow directions. To add insult to a shitty situation he charged me an extra $40 for his mistake.

This morning I requested a refund and noted the driver took a long route. They had the nerve to reply and blame it on me! Claiming the drop-off location was not the location original specified. Mother fuckers I have a screen shot!

I am astounded that they would stoop to such low levels as to shift the blame to me. I suppose they were betting I didn't have a screen shot.

Well, time to try lift!

    I've had a pretty decent experience with Lyft so far. They are a bit smaller though so some cities don't have a single Lyft driver.

    Dispute it with your card company. Provide the screenshot and their reply as proof. The card company usually gets involved and you may just get your money back.

    I work for GoJek (Ride hailing app in Jakarta), Its really difficult to solve human mistakes. Insane. šŸ˜‘

    That'sā€‹ the response I expect from Uber at this point. "We know we have issues, screw you anyway."

    @lcr727 I threatened to file an EFT dispute and showed them the screen shot. The next email I received was was an automated one stating I had been refunded.

    @akshayshinde sometimes it can be. But if you are honest with your customers instead of lying and shifting blame things go a lot smoother.
