I'm pretty hooked on the logitec K810, I've got through 3 of them. Not through shoddy build, spilt a glass of wine on one of them. Apparently not good for them. I have one for home and office. Short key travel distance, bt so can code on my phone too. Compact and can travel. Battery lasts about a month.

I've got a USB Thinkpad keyboard that for some dumb reason I'm beyond addicted to.

Found a mechanical keyboard on Amazon for about $50. Love it. (wife hates it when she's trying to watch tv)

How about one off those which is separated left from right?

@tinybyte I saw a dude using one on youtube. Seemed like a bit of a learning curve, lots of new keyboard shortcuts.

Cherry evolution stream xt, no mechanical keyboard but I love it. And you can use it even with colleagues near you without disturbing them.

If you like typing on a Mac with its chiclet style keyboard, then you should try the MS surface keyboard. Also it's wireless.
