LIRR system rant 2 - there is a thing called a sensor. Can you please paste them on your trains so we know on a real-time map where the train is. If it's 8 miles away when supposedly 'on time' we don't have to freeze on the platform. It's 2016 not 2007.

    I was thinking about exactly this earlier today. I read the MTA has already spent several hundred million dollars on their time tracking system that cover only a few lines and stations. Govt efficiency...

    LIRR is a lost cause. They have been around for 175 years and still can't get it right.
