Nothing like a "senior developer" using a version control system as a save button.

It does save assess, it saved mine a lot of times when I fucked up.

I had a guy once that used right click and commit on EVERY SINGLE DAMN FILE.

Discarded other people's changes too cause he accepted his crap over the updated versions on the remote branch...
