I saw this on a flight a few years ago too. It wasn't that Linux had crashed, it was that they had to restart everything on the plane, so the computers were booting up.
But yes, Linux does sometimes crash too, just less often then Windows. -

The embedded screens at least do. It makes sense; no licensing fees and less maintenance.
There's also less of a chance for script kiddies to mess with the whole system as well, as most teenagers who think they're hackers wouldn't know what Linux even is (and that most Windows commands don't work on it). -
Why the hell don't you want fans to comment? A fan is something entirely different than a nazi :/. There are also very nice Linux users (same goes for all systems though) on this world *blushes* 😜

@amahlaka windows definitely no, windows IOT could be a better option ... but still in this linux is the best, because you can develop only what you need from the source code
