I am seeing a lot of Silicon valley related stuff , specially the tabs vs spaces. So how many of us watch it, and what's you fav moment.

The D2F scene was the greatest by far.

I've never seen it before. How close is it to real life?

@hackedranger I've had server fires and been part of conversations where we calculated things not too different from D2F

@CodeOrDie I meant the show as a whole. I have absolutely no real context for what's going on at the moment.

The show is as realistic as it needs to be, without sacrificing comedy over being overly correct on everything... Obviously the writing receives quite a bit of consulting on programming stuff (e.g. tabs vs spaces, github), but of course the authors are no developers. And that makes it fun to watch. For the insider dev jokes we have devRant ;)

@grashopper99 Great thanks. I'm fine, of course, with general wrongness. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't so overtly wrong that it would be insulting to watch. I'm talking "How many ram does it take to store the internet?" wrong. I've seen it before and just walked away in that case.

@hackedranger they definitely don't treat their viewers like idiots. I think that's why a lot of tech people like the show (besides being funny as hell)

The middle out light bulb moment, not D2F
