Am I the only one who's bothered by the fact that in CSS, "!important" doesn't mean "not important" ?

    I'm don't actually. Despite being a programmer, I read both the exclamation mark and the word as 'important' (think very important)

    CSS lang makers have !brain
    Thats why they use !important for important

    Actually no, as CSS is not a programming language and shouldn't be treated as such, thus the exclamation mark in this case acts like someone shouting "Hey! I'm here and you must ignore everyone else!"
