I used to not care whether I used light or dark themes, so I mostly used the light theme in IDEs. But, seeing as all of you like dark theme so much, I decided to only use dark theme.

Now my eyes burn when looking at white surfaces.

    Also familiar: install f.lux, use it for a while. Now everything looks too blue.

    (light theme is pure evil for your eyes)

    @Jop- Those with light theme -> Still hurt ur eyes xD (dark theme + flux or redshift is the massive improvement)

    I reverted to a light theme for my IDE temporarily while I was working outside one day... my eyes can't go back now. I've been reading dark characters on light-colored paper since childhood, so why wouldn't I program that way?

    Accidentally found out Windows has a night mode setting in display properties = life saver! Red everything, all the time!

    @karakamen I think it’s a very recent feature. I still use f.lux though, as a token of gratitude towards the developers. They filled a need that should have been filled years ago.
