Favorite Dev tool would have to be Notepad++. Unless you count Google.

Upgrqde dat shit man.
Vscode if you want an easier first time experience.
Sublime text 3 if you are not afraid of researching to find stuff you want(themes, plugins etc. because there is so much more for it, and it is a bit harder to install stuff, but not by much)
