While working on generic enterprise code: querying databases, calling third-party APIs and just passing data around, I'm thinking: "PLEASE LET ME DO SOME THINKING, LET ME WORK ON SOME HARD ALGORITHM OR SOMETHING!"

When finally working on 'some hard algorithm or something', I'm thinking: "ARGH! MY HEAD ACHES! GIVE ME RELEASE! LET ME WORK ON SOME MINDLESS ENTERPRISE CODE!"

I stopped working for game companies because i wanted more money and less crunch time. And now all i do is reading stuff from databases, push it to an api or something, use this lib here and that api there. Feels so much like not being a coder conpared to the game stuff (shadery, pathings, mesh processing, random level generating, wrap fancy dop stuff in oop shit etc). But money talks.
