Best OS 😍

Mint sure is great out of the box, super easy to get started with.

The community is the opposite of Arch though: Telling you to never use apt from the command line, never upgrade your kernel, etc.

Imho: Mint > Ubuntu

Just out of curiosity why mint is better then ubuntu. I am on ubuntu gnome and love it

@mraiur I think for most people it's cinnamon which is pretty attractive. It's more windows-like than gnome/kde, has just the right power user features in terms of keybindings and window tiling, while it's much less scary than i3.

But cinnamon is not exclusive to mint or course, just default.

Elementary? It's like one of the distros with great UIs.

@bittersweet i used Ubuntu for a month and now using mint, as of now mint is better 😍

I hate to use a mouse and for now only gnome allowed me that freedom. Also i like to remove everything when i am working. But out of the box both mint and elementary are good looking.

is it only about the looks? what makes it "better" beyond the looks?
