I find myself a lot more productive when I don't listent to any music. I tried to switch between different music genres, but I find out that silence is the best for me.

Same, but sometimes my environment is too distracting so I usually do instrumental music, I'm going to invest in some noise cancelling headphones.

Same when I have to think, but music helps when you have to write some boilerplate code.

I'm usually very productive listening to some psytrance-goa genre. It's very monotonous, yet provides a fast and bassy rhythm that keeps me awake and concentrated. Check that out if you haven't already :)
