Can't say fuck off to all the guys saying good morning when you arrive in office. Nobody really means it. It gets irritating some times. :(

imho a positive base attitude is a must, especially in a software developing company.

Generally software devs in a company should be comerades and friendly to each other. You don't have to be friends with everyone, but it's pretty evident that devs are much more productive and happy when people get a long well.

I live in germany and i have heard that in america there is this super-faked attitude, and i could understand when people are disgusted by this. At least in your own little project group, try to be friendly and work could become a lot less of a cynical workhole than it might seem.

@demiko So, like, be a robot; shut up; do your job; leave your personal life at home?

Good morning everyone! (no, I don't have donuts, these are my 2 dozen)

Brutal honesty is the way to go.

If someone asks: "How are you today? ", respond truthfully. Either they'll never ask again, or they'll turn out to be genuinely interested.

    I always mean it haha
I'm a morning person, so it annoys everyone else.

@R5on11c unlike others I mean it. Don't know about productivity but I like to see Happy faces.

@mohit-goyal not that i'd say your judgement is incorrect, but you don't know these people aswell as they don't know you. Correct me if i am wrong. A friendly approach is always welcome. If they do not want to have a conversation about anything after greeting you or in general, then i can understand your position.
