iOS11 is so buggy that it is actually ridiculous. How does a company that is worth so many billions of dollars manage to release such patchy software. Hang your head in shame Apple. If anyone hasn’t updated from iOS10 yet, hold on till iOS11.0.1

And this is without me even getting into how horrible the dev experience with Xcode has been so far 😡

I don't own an iPhone but I 10000000% agree about xcode as the worst IDE of all time

Yep... I tried XCode for my C++ needs... Back to CLion after a hello world program!
My ViM works far better than that garbage of an IDE!!! 😠😠 Cudnt b more disappointed with apple.
Well at least I still love MacOS 😅

Create bug -> fix bug -> "frequent updates and customer service!"

@gitpush well Xcode is pretty horrible but I don’t think it’s “eclipse horrible” yet

@rajeevcbhatia I don't really know about Eclipse it was soo bad when doing Android development on it, but ironically it was waaaaay better than XCode :/
So my new standard is: If its "XCode horrible" find an alternative ASAP lol

@gitpush it was pretty shit when I used it for Blackberry dev

@rajeevcbhatia oh no I didn't do that. I just hope something new comes, just like Android studio came to save us from eclipse

@gitpush Xcode X. No keyboard and uses FaceID to type code
PS: as shit as Eclipse was for Blackberry dev, it was waaaaaay better than Netbeans or *shudder* the official JDE *uncontrollably vomits*

@rajeevcbhatia at least you had alternative from the default IDE

as for XCode X does it have a Bionic editor? if no I'm not interested !

@gitpush new features in Xcode X, like animoji :P

@rajeevcbhatia MonkeyScript a new innovative scripting language that makes creating iOS apps a fun thing :P
  • 1
    @gitpush more like “tolerable” :D
  • 2
@rajeevcbhatia made with monkeys in mind, because they too have the right to code lol

What kind of iOS 11 bugs are you seeing? (Can’t believe no one has asked yet!)

One I’ve found: turning off Bluetooth in control center doesn’t actually turn off bluetooth, it just shuts down active Bluetooth sessions.

To actually turn off Bluetooth, you have to go into settings > Bluetooth.
    🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
