Something is not working with PTR DNS records right now.

It's getting really frustrating and I'm starting to DuckDuckGo the issue.

Just noticed that I typed this:

"how to setup a fucking ptr record".

I didn't type the 'fucking' intentionally.

😆😅

So, with "not working" you mean that you missed setting Up ptr? ;)

@Linux Nope haha. I've set up the records according to many tutorials and I think I understand what I'm doing but all checks just say 'fuck you mate' :/

And you are sure that your subnet actually use the nameservers you are editing in?

@Linux I am not entirely sure what you're saying uhm. I've got the DNS settings at my domain name provider and trying to setup the mail server (or, it's setup successfully) on a VPS.

PTR is nothing you can setup at your DNS provider, you have to do that at your vps provider

@Linux Wtf 😵. Let me look into that once I've got the motivation to get my lazy ass out of bed!

Yeah, depending on what provider you use:
Ducksearch "Reverse DNS record [insert provider here]"
    Lol
