One of the dev in my team literally asked us (other student devs, professor, and a guy from the company we were working with) this question during a weekly scrum meeting:

"Who is this Jason you guys keep talking about? He never showed up to any of our meetings!".

A bit of context: we were 6 weeks (halfway) into our FINAL YEAR PROJECT for a bachelor in software engineering...

I thought at first he was joking...

Try working with a guy called Jason on a modern full-stack -_-.

    > we gotta parse that Jason.
    > yep?
    > not you json, Jason Jason.
    > you what mate?
    > fucking rest response content type son
    > ohhh shit, Jason!
    > yeah man Jason!
    > safe, I’ll leave you to it.
    > nice one, so mark; we have to work out the model so we know what Jason we’re throwing to the client.
    > w...
    > Jason!

It took a week or two of getting used to, his ears still perked up months in but it was cool.

Great guy too that Json, taught me a lot and was willing to learn from me too. Legend.

To be fair. I don't think in my CS program we had any core courses where we would have come across json (maybe there was an elective or 2 ). Without work outside the classroom there's a lot of basic stuff you might not know.

He is with Ruby most of the time. They often Go to the zoo to see their favorite Python. They like to hang out, but most of their walks are just Smalltalk. They met Ada along the way, but she is just Basic.
