    Welcome to devRant!

Well, I would say that IntelliJ IDEA is currently the best IDE for Java. Unfortunately, it is also a resource hog.

Funny, I upvoted the first comment because I hate Java and the second comment because IntelliJ really is the best IDE for the job

Who cares ! Java developers never really get work that requires writing much code. Just to cleanup someone else’s shit. Why do you need an ide.

@dukekiller I've actually found that IDEs can be very helpful when cleaning up someone else's shit. The refactoring tools in IntelliJ are wonderful too.

Tried many, but I haven't found the perfect ide yet ( that can give me the C# + VS experience), so I am currently using just a text editor ( vs code )

Hi :D especially for learning Java intellij is really good - and if you want to switch to an other language at sone point, there is an intellij IDE for that and you dont have to get User to a new UI
