I saw a recruiter rant on linked in where they can't figure out why candidates won't give out current salary or they won't represent. If you have been working in and learning hot technologies in your current job but you know you can earn more why would you want to be represented at the lowest possible rate? I say give them an acceptable salary range not current rate. I am seeing why devs are moving toward meet ups and networking to get decent work.

    just a thought: what the recruiter has to do with current salary? if he will hire me to save and solve a million dollar project, dont u think my contribution will worth some thing.
