Could we all just agree that Mac is a piece of shit in terms of performance? Specially with those lousy animations and that stupid dock?

Upgraded my 2011 Macbook Pro with an SSD yesterday, beats any Windows based laptop in the office 😬 - but I agree that gaming is a no-go, and generally and graphic-heavy rask (3D, gaming, video animation a little too) is reserved for high tier Macs. However coding, design and such, it's at least as powerful as any other computer that I've encountered (a downside is the high pricetag)

The terms "Mac" and "performance" are very open-ended. I'm no fanboi for any hardware or OS, but I like my MacBook Pro a lot for developing on. I have a high-spec Windows laptop as well. To be fair, they're both pretty performant and I'm rarely waiting on either of them to do what I ask.
