    I like Atom, but I really enjoy products from Jetbrains.

    sudoing into a server with only terminal access? vim
    coding a project? gimme some tasty jetbrains products
    modifying a standalone flat file? atom

    simeg, I agree that their products are the best. I just like atom over sublime 😳

    Sublime is speed, Atom is customization, VsCode tries to balance the two and Jetbrains is the powerhouse.

    I use Atom. But comparing VIM and Sublime is like apples to oranges.

    @alias, I tend to use Jetbrain products for projects and Atom for minor scripts and simple text editing.

    ST is so quick, but I moved to an IDE not too long ago. JetBrains products rock.

    I've only ever used atom. Is jetbrain really all that?

    @ironyinabox They pretty much have the best IDE's out there, but it's not cheap. They're like the Adobe of IDE's. I got them for free though.
