I just got hired as a systems administrator at a company that develops web forms. NO ONE in the company has heard of git. They don't use any kind of version control.

    Hopefully you don't get a "back in the days everything was better" when a minor problem interrupt their usually work flow ;)

    This is either one hell of an opportunity to change the company for the better or they will continue being hermits and refuse to listen.

    This place started using git instead of commented out code a few months ago. By now we even have a proper branching strategy :P
